When we change the URL or when any kind of problem is occur in our website then we can restore our WordPress website backup to overcome the problem. What are the things to restore your WordPress website?
You need only few things to restore your website. In the backup include:
1) wp-content folder
2) wp-config.php file
3) Database .sql file
4) FTP and Cpanel Account Details
1) Wp-content folder: You will get this folder using your ftp accounts. Enter the host name, username, password and port in the filezilla or any other ftp software. After that you can see the public_html folder click it and find the folder wp-content and right click and download it on your local drive.
2) Wp-config.php File: Below the wp-content folder you can easily find wp-config.php file. Right and download it on your local drive.

You have to follow some steps to restore your WordPress Website. These steps are:
Steps1: Install the WordPress on your website using cpanel.
Steps2: Login your FTP ( Filezilla ) using your host name, username, password and port.
Steps3: Open the public_html folder and find the wp-content folder.
Steps4: Replace this folder with your previous local drive wp-content folder. It takes some minutes to complete.
Steps5: Now open your cpanel and find phpmyadmin.
Steps6: Open the wp-config.php file in your already logined ftp and the database name. its looks like define(‘DB_NAME’, ‘seodesigning’);
Step7: Now find that database name in your phpmyadmin and click on it. after that you will see all the tables. Select all the tables and drop it.
Step8: Now your database is empty. Click on import and select your local side database file and upload it.
Step9: Now open your local side wp-config.php file and find the table prefix. Its look like $table_prefix = ‘wp_swd_’;
Step10: Now open your remote side wp-config.php file and find the table prefix and replace with local side table prefix.
Step11: Reset your WordPress password and restoring is complete.
Note: If your domain name is change in the database open the table named wp_options and change the site url and home option_value to current domain name.
